File Data Processing

Our principle for handling user files is 'process and delete, leave no trace': • Uploaded PDF files are only temporarily stored on servers during processing • After processing, both original and result files are automatically deleted within 1 hour • We do not view, analyze, or store any content from uploaded files • User files are never used for model training or other commercial purposes • File transfers use HTTPS encryption to ensure data security in transit

Scanned documents & OCR

Files uploaded for OCR or document conversion are processed temporarily and deleted automatically within the retention window described above. For scanned document workflows, this matters because sensitive text may appear inside contracts, forms, invoices, or internal paperwork. pdfClaw does not retain your uploads as a permanent content archive.

Information Collection
